With our top, tried and tested annual festivals such as Beverley Folk Festival, Food Festivals, Literature and Christmas Festivals we know a fabulous time is ahead of us. Not forgetting the East Riding Theatre, with its multi functional events and used as part of the filming for the Dad's Army Film. MAY Beverley & East Riding Early Music Festival. Concerts in Beverley Minster and smaller ensembles in churches locally.
SEPTEMBER Beverley Chamber Music Festival. The finest chamber musicians, soloists, string quartets and chamber ensembles.
OCTOBER Beverley Literature Festival. Talk to great writers about their work, take part in workshops and reading groups.
JUNE Beverley Folk Accoustic Roots Festival. Music, dance, comedy, crafts and food fair, real ale bars.
OCTOBER Beverley Food Festival. Food and fun with a variety of 50 stalls, selling local produce. Street entertainers, BBQ and cookery theatre.
DECEMBER Beverley Festival of Christmas. 80+ stalls, Santa, sleigh, live reindeer, exhibitions and Victorian fair.

Tour de Yorkshire
Tour de Yorkshire - 29, 30 April & 1 May 2016
The first stage will set off from Saturday Market in Beverley. The riders will parade around the town – which also played host to the race in 2015, then through North Bar before heading north west to the Official Start at Beverley Racecourse.
East Riding Theatre

The award winning Beverley Puppet Festival takes place every two years. Having grown from just 5 puppet companies in 2005 it now attracts circa 9,000 visitors and is the largest festival of British puppetry in the world, in terms of its focus on home grown talent, and all in one place - Beverley!
