Partly this comes from our superb location, but mostly because, after 70 years ownership by the family that built it, you will find friendly old world courtesy combined with modern facilites. Renowned for being a haven of peace and comfort, the Expanse is situated on the sea promenade looking out over the beautiful Bridlington Bay. Perfect to relax and recharge, or to use as a base for exploring the Yorkshire Heritage coast or the charming countryside nearby. The Expanse is in a quiet location out of town, but the town centre with its picturesque harbour, shopping and entertainment is just a few minutes away.
Parking: Pay and display opposite the hotel, 1 hour free parking o same side of the road as hotel (Sunday free all-day), street parking at the back of the hotel. Garage Spaces are available at £10 per night which have to be reserved. We have limited free parking at the rear of the hotel this is not reservable. CD players in some rooms; please request at time of booking. Children welcome from any age.

From Hull A165 at Scarborough Road roundabout follow the signs to the town centre. Take the B1255 at the mini-roundabout, then follow the signs for north beach.
