Estate Escapes

Our delightful family-friendly holiday cottages are nestled in a quiet corner on the edge of Hotham parkland, at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds. Stracey, Clitherow and Park cottages can sleep between four and five people (Z-bed optional) and each has its own private garden/patio area.

All three of our gorgeous cottages have been tastefully renovated and boast their own wood burning stoves, open plan living spaces, cosy sofas and beautiful bedrooms. Clitherow Cottage and Park Cottage have separate snugs for children or adults to escape to. We've endeavoured to think of everything you could possibly need in the cottages to make your stay memorable, mixing vintage with contemporary designs, comfortable and understated furnishings with luxurious fabrics.

The gardens are immaculately kept – perfect for al fresco breakfasts or BBQs and for those who enjoy hot tubs, Park Cottage offers guests the chance to take a dip at dusk.
Take a stroll to the Hotham Arms in the evening for a meal or book a table at the Star at Sancton, a fantastic gastro pub only 3 miles north of Hotham. And if you are a foodie, why not take a mooch around our local farm shop, Drewton’s, only a mile away.
We welcome children of all ages. Step outside the cottages to enjoy the local countryside on bike/scooter or foot with the kids. Travel cots, high chairs and stair gates provided on request.

Grown-ups can explore David Hockney's East Yorkshire Landscape by walking the Yorkshire Wolds or visit the picturesque market towns of Beverley, Howden, Malton and Pocklington.

Clitherow Cottage - Sleeps 5 (max 8 people)
Upstairs: 1 master bedroom (kingsize bed) with ensuite executive shower room. 1 twin bedroom (beds can be zipped to make a large double bed) and 1 bedroom with daybed which becomes a large double bed. There is also a second bathroom with shower and bath. Hairdryers provided in each room.
Downstairs: Large open plan kitchen/living room with range oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge, TV & DVD, utility room with washing machine and WC, snug room with large sofa bed (sleeps 2) and TV & DVD.
Patio with BBQ, table and chairs for 6 people and large umbrella, private garden to cottages. Private parking in front of the cottage.

Stracey Cottage - Sleeps 4
Upstairs: Both bedrooms have beautiful views over the park. One double bedroom (kingsize bed), one twin bedroom (beds can be zipped to make a large double bed) and a large family bathroom with roll-top bath and separate shower.
Downstairs: Sitting/Dining room with super views of the park, TV & DVD. Kitchen fitted with range over, fridge, microwave and diswasher and a separate utility room with washing machine and separate WC. Private patio area with table and chairs for 4 people plus large umbrella and a private garden to cottages. Private parking in front of cottage.

Park Cottage - Sleeps 5 (Z-Bed optional)
Upstairs: 1 master bedroom (kingsize bed),1 twin bedroom and 1 single bedroom bed Hairdryers are provided in each room.
Downstairs: Large open plan kitchen/living room with electric fan oven & hob, dishwasher, microwave and large fridge freezer, TV & DVD, separate snug with TV & DVD. Bathroom with shower over bath.
Patio with BBQ, table and chairs for 6 people and large umbrella, beautifully kept large private garden with large hot tub which is screened. Private parking in front of the cottage.
