Yes, you can fly like a bird! Enjoy the thrill of soaring over the Vale of York at the controls of one of our modern two-seater training gliders with a BGA qualified gliding instructor. We fly Wednesday to Sunday all year round and every day in summer, weather permitting . As a visitor you can fly
• as a Day Member (from £45, includes 3 months club membership) – no booking, just come in and get your name on the flying list
• with a Voucher (from £90, includes 3 months club membership) – with a booked time/date at weekends - and a Voucher makes a great gift for a special person
• on an Evening Visit (£22) – if you book with a group of 10 or more
With our own airfield at the foot of the Wolds, an extensive fleet of aircraft and a modern clubhouse and facilities conveniently situated on the A1079 Hull-York road at Pocklington, Wolds Gliding Club is the perfect place to try gliding.
