The two measured routes are as follows:
• Route 1 – Park & Ride (Promenade) to The Spa, Bridlington (1 mile) • Route 2 – East Riding Leisure Bridlington to Sewerby Hall & Gardens (1.75 miles)
The markers are located every 0.25 miles along the routes and are themed to reflect a number of recreational activities and features on the iconic coastline.
For more information regarding the Mile Markers, a leaflet which includes maps of the routes and a description of the markers can be collected from a number of locations including The Foreshores Office, The Spa Bridlington, East Riding Leisure Bridlington or Sewerby Hall & Gardens (download also available - see attached).
So whether you feel you can complete the routes over one day or want to enjoy the walks at a separate time, it is hoped residents and tourists will enjoy spotting the markers whilst enjoying the sites of the coastline.
