InnThis superb 18th Century Inn is set in the heart of the glorious Yorkshire Wolds in the splendid estate village of Sledmere. Landlords Lance and Tony and their team welcome you into their delightful pub and offer fine fayre and lodgings in comfortable and relaxing surroundings.

Perfect for a laid-back weekend spent exploring the area, visiting Sledmere House, enjoying walks around the village or further afield, or touring ‘Hockney’ country. The Yorkshire Moors, Pickering, Dalby Forest, the City of York, Scarborough and much of the East Coast beaches are within a 45 minute drive.

The pub sits on the Sustrans Yorkshire Wolds cycle route and is also just a ten minute drive to the Wolds Way.

The Triton has five stylishly furnished en-suite bedrooms each with flat screen TVs, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, bottled water and even a chocolate on your pillow. The rooms are all individually sized and furnished and wherever possible we will give you your choice of room. Four of the rooms are double and one has two single beds.

A hearty breakfast is included with your accommodation and served at a time to suit you. Juices, cereals, fruits, toast, followed by a full English platter served with tea or coffee.

The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner every day (closed Monday lunch during Winter months) and serves a variety of dishes ranging from Yorkshire reared beef Steak from the Chargrill, Homemade Steak and Ale Pie to Half Roast Duckling with Cherry sauce. Sunday lunch is served all day from 12 noon until 7pm. We feature four hand-pulled real ales along with an extensive wine list. We also have a private dining room capable of seating 22 people. Ideal for small functions and family get togethers.

We offer our guests a packed lunch for £5.95 which consists of a sandwich, a piece of fruit, bottled water, a piece of cake and a packet of crisps.

Ideal for bikers and walkers on a day out.

Free Wi-Fi is available in many areas of the pub.

Rooms are available for check in around lunchtime.

Please note there is no check in between 3pm and 5.30pm. Check out is sometime in the morning after your breakfast.

The price is from £75 per room, per night with single occupancy being from £45 per night, all including Full English Breakfast. In some of the rooms there is space to put our put-u-up bed for a child at a cost of £10 per night.
